Deric Holden, Ph.D.
Dr. Holden earned a BS from Utah State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Utah, both in Chemistry. His doctoral research focused on electrochemistry with particular emphasis on transport mechanisms at the nanoscale. While at school, Dr. Holden was recognized for his outstanding academic performance and has received multiple distinguished awards. Since graduating from the U of U in 2012, Dr. Holden has been working at e-SENS on the development of the electrochemical sensors.
Sr. Electrical Engineer
Ondrej has received a BS degree in computer science and computer engineering, an ME degree in electrical engineering, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering, all at the University of Utah. He has seven years of mixed-signal IC design experience including designs of integrated wireless data links and sensor interfaces. Ondrej’s doctoral research is focused on microsystems for biomedical applications. His interests include embedded system design, and system integration. At e-SENS, he has been designing electronic circuits for chemical sensing instruments.
