Position: Director of Engineering
Description: e-SENS is seeking qualified candidates with experience leading engineering teams in successful productization of new technologies. The Director of Engineering will work with the Director of Marketing and the Director of Sales and Business Development to define e-SENS products. He or she will be responsible for assessing technical risk, defining an accurate development schedule and executing against that schedule successfully. He or she will also be responsible for managing two distinct engineering teams including one responsible for the development of chemical sensors and one responsible for electronic read-out and instrumentation. The Director of Engineering reports to the President of e-SENS.
Qualifications: At least 10 years of industry experience in an engineering management position is required. Experience developing multidisciplinary products is also required. Candidates with an advanced degree in electrical engineering are preferred. Candidates with a broad background including silicon development and instrumentation development are highly sought.
Position: Director of Manufacturing
Description: e-SENS is seeking qualified candidates with experience managing silicon manufacturing vendors and contract manufacturers specializing in instrumentation. The Director of Manufacturing will be responsible for establishing and managing relationships with such vendors. Further, he or she will be responsible for managing the cost structure of e-SENS products including both the silicon sensor and the instrument. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and have worked through the development and bring-up of manufacturing new products. He or she should also posses long-standing relationships with manufacturing partners and be capable of sourcing appropriate partners. The Director of Manufacturing reports to the President of e-SENS.
Qualifications: At least 15 years of industry experience in manufacturing development including silicon devices and instruments. Candidates with advanced degrees in electrical engineering are preferred.
